Word of the Day

I don’t think we truly understand the power of empathy until we are placed in a moment when humbleness is all we have to cling to.

When our territory is lessened and our resources are scarce. When the burdens weighs more than our support can carry.

And the seams weaken and the bolts loosen.

We are exposed to ourselves and we realize the necessity to be truthful with self first and have to give over ourselves to a more intimate spiritual relationship.

Because it’s all we have left. Should you take the time to cultivate your spiritual relationship, you realize its all there ever was to begin with. And if you continue to pour into it, it will be the only thing which remains constant.

Able to support your burdens. To turn your heartache to joy. Your tears to smiles. Your fears to testimonies.

Humble yourself so that you can receive the lesson of empathy.

And then never forget when it’s your turn to live what you learned.

Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

If you are going to input 100% of energy into someone, make sure that someone is yourself.

This way you can’t be disappointed with the end results.

You won ‘t feel it was a “waste of time” or be filled with the sentiments that regret brings.

Making conscious decisions about who and where you input energy sharpens and develops your ability to make better, smarter choices for your life and long term goals.

Know when to leave well enough alone.

Know when to keep your thoughts and comments to a minimum or none at all.

Taking the time to work on yourself is time well spent and invested;

Being self-centered is needed at times.

It helps you to know who you are, rather than reacting to what others think they know of you.

Stand firm in the relationship with self first. You can never go wrong when you start with the source.

Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

Stay true to yourself. No matter if it is personal or professional.

If you don’t do what’s within you, you will always mull over the missed opportunities to express your truest thoughts or actions.

Every attempt won’t be what you want it to be, but give it your best. Try! You can’t be  afraid to experience rejection.

And hopefully you gain something from it and learn what was needed for you to understand, why it didn’t go the way you believed it should.

You will grow. You will blossom. You will be better for it. And there will be no regrets when those things happen.

Life is made for mistakes, not regrets.

Make the memories.

Word of the Day

When the circumstances become tougher,

Allow your faith to make you stronger.

Giving up should never be an option.

For if it is, what you thought you wanted never served a purpose in the first place.

So take note of what you are seeking;

Is it all about you or about what you can do to better serve others?
