Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

What is for you is not for anyone else to understand or even to accept.

Especially when they are not privy to your journey.

We have to stop internalizing the judgment of others as if they matter more than the vision we’ve been given.

You know what you’ve prayed for, toiled for, wrestled with and cried about.

So then why allow the opinion of an outsider to hold weight in your circumstance?

God is the only one who truly knows your situation and it is God a lone who you should turn to when you need assurance in your journey.

Because unfortunately, we as humans can only see what we can see, whereas God sees all, knows all and hears all.

Place your trust there, its a sure thing. Keep your head up, your prayers consistent and your energy connected to what flows, stop resisting where its taking you, because we never know what’s awaiting us just ahead.

When the vision isn’t matching up, ask God for clarity, continuously.

Remember the journey never looks like the destination.

Hard Truths

It’s you.

Perhaps not all the time, but this time, it is you.

And that’s ok.

Once we recognize our role and our missteps, we can begin to change our approach and the narrative we put out but also the one we create within us.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with acknowledging our faults and flaws and more than anything we need to…even if it has to come from the outside, make sure it comes from those who truly love and want the best for you.

But it’s you.

And it’s gonna be you who makes the change.

Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

This week, should anything less than stellar or progressive take place, not only will we not fall, but we shall not break nor stray off course.

We are in the Steel Legged Stance.

The position one takes when something attempts to move you off your focus, your promise.

When trouble, disappointment or bad news attempts to sway us from what we claim, We Will Get To Work.

We will get to work reaffirming the promise, doing the exact opposite of what fear wants us to do: give up.

We believe in ourselves and we believe in our ability to will what we desire, through energy and work.

So this week and each following week, after you rise and give reference: get in your Steel Legged Stance.

And be not moved by what you see, but by what is promised.

Here’s to a week of claimed victories.

The Switch Up Gave Way to the Prepared Table

Social media has warped us and how we perceive what the “come up” looks like.

We have become a generation obsessed with proving other people wrong and using our growth as a visual revenge on others who did not see the promise.

When the truth is this: people must play specific roles in our lives, in order for each of us to elevate from one level to the next.

If no one ever switched up on you, you’d never know how important it is to guard your heart and be intentional in the company you keep, which in turn means you wouldn’t have that job, partner, friends, child…etc.

If no one ever made you feel less than loved, you wouldn’t have sought out love and discovered the love you have for yourself and inspired others to do the same.

If no one had broken promises, you wouldn’t be a person who moves with a plan and is dependable.

God prepares the table, not for us to stunt, but for us to show how even with scraps, we can have a full course meal. It may take a minute to cover the table, but that’s in part to our perception.

We have the power to feed others through the evolution of our trials! Folks can pull up seats to our table and feast off what we’ve been through, endured, learned and ultimately gained.

So, the next you wanna stunt for the haters, don’t. For you would be taking away from the feast. In stead show gratitude for the role they played, for without them…things might not be as sweet.

Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

Often, we look for our blessings to be manifestations of material things, because a lot of us were raised to believe goodness takes shape in tangible form.

However, through living our lives we come to realize at some point, hopefully, that our most cherished moments take place through healing and self realization.

Peace. Love. Hope. Understanding.

These are all blessed gifts that come to comfort us in times of storms, trepidation and loneliness.

We gather ourselves, because we know how to comfort our wounds. Not to say we don’t falter and revert back to non-serving habits: self pity, fear and doubt, however we are aware enough to recognize we are digressing and courageous enough to turn the narrative around for our good.

Nothing which attempts to bind us in despair shall last when we seek to persevere and overcome.

We only lack when we believe we lack.

We only remain fearful we choose to believe in the fear.

We are only lonely when we believe loneliness is our only option.

Reaffirming who we are through our gifts of peace, hope, understanding and love, joins us to our inner spirit which holds the power to bring us through any and all darkness.

My thought and prayer for us this week, is that we daily seek power in the words we speak and the thoughts we choose to focus on.

When we find ourselves not promoting our light, we quickly change the narrative and shift the direction of our energy.

We deserve the very best, no ifs ands or buts about it.

However we must first begin that with and within ourselves.

This season is all about expectancy, what are you claiming for yours?

Processing…
Success! You're on the list.

In my experience, choosing to be happy in everything one does, has proven to be a journey riddled with constant obstacles and setbacks…and I thought from my bubble of creativity laden free spirit wonder, that love is all you need.

Love, however powerful and reassuring, is definitely not all one needs. You need courage to step fully on the promises you seek. You need faith to continuously push beyond the boundaries set and you need prayer to communicate that which is not relatable in this realm, yet understood spiritually.

Life does not hand you what you want, instead it leads you through to where you are purposed to be. Whether you fight against the current, exalting your energy in a manner that leaves you worn or you fully lay into the groove of the frequency and surrender your will of control; you still have choices.

And while I have interchanged my position on how I flow, I am learning when to hold on and when to relinquish the reigns. Because sometimes my grip is in laced so heavily in fear, all my strength goes into my grasp; be it mental or physical, when in fact it should be a spiritual grasp for peace that surpasses all understanding.

This is the time for me to simply focus on me. Not what others think I should be doing or have or be…but where is the flow leading me and do I have the courage, faith and prayer life to withstand the journey? Because in the end, I know where I will end up, due to my stated and visualized affirmation: HAPPY.

So why should I fret? Why should I grow weary with worry and doubt, when I state what I will into my life?

Hold on to the peace and ride the frequency.
