The Switch Up Gave Way to the Prepared Table

Social media has warped us and how we perceive what the “come up” looks like.

We have become a generation obsessed with proving other people wrong and using our growth as a visual revenge on others who did not see the promise.

When the truth is this: people must play specific roles in our lives, in order for each of us to elevate from one level to the next.

If no one ever switched up on you, you’d never know how important it is to guard your heart and be intentional in the company you keep, which in turn means you wouldn’t have that job, partner, friends, child…etc.

If no one ever made you feel less than loved, you wouldn’t have sought out love and discovered the love you have for yourself and inspired others to do the same.

If no one had broken promises, you wouldn’t be a person who moves with a plan and is dependable.

God prepares the table, not for us to stunt, but for us to show how even with scraps, we can have a full course meal. It may take a minute to cover the table, but that’s in part to our perception.

We have the power to feed others through the evolution of our trials! Folks can pull up seats to our table and feast off what we’ve been through, endured, learned and ultimately gained.

So, the next you wanna stunt for the haters, don’t. For you would be taking away from the feast. In stead show gratitude for the role they played, for without them…things might not be as sweet.

Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

Sometimes we have to pray for a release we are not ready to let go of, to receive what is meant for us to own and maintain.

For the emotions and process that are attached can seem much more than we asked for; remember it is worth all that we endure.

One day you will be stronger than this moment and even more grateful you took the step to let go.

I know it is not easy, but let me be the first to say, congratulations.

No matter how you feel, speak what you want.

Allow the Universe to sort the rest out.

You just give a sincere thanks for life, no matter the condition of yours; because whether or not it is what we desire, it is what we have til we get what we want.

Ever notice how anxiety builds up when you finally come into contact with what you’ve been working and toiling for?

I know it’s easier said than done, but every time a flicker of doubt/worry/fear/anxiety attempts to creep in, speak a loud how much more you believe than the unbelief.

Find an encouraging scripture or affirmation to affirm what your expectations are, what you know is coming!

It doesn’t matter how often you have to reaffirm your hope/faith, I don’t care if every 5 minutes you’re telling yourself: You Got This!

Hunny, tell yourself, You Got This!

Philippians 4:6-7 (summarized)

Implores us to be anxious/worry for nothing, but in everything be in prayer (meditation) with a positive attitude letting God/Universe know what it is you are expecting. And the peace of understanding will transcend your anxiety and doubts.

Speak over yourself.

Encourage yourself in love and sincerity.

I know your greater is just beyond the doubt in your mind.

Remember, You Got This!

Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

In all your getting; don’t forget to give kindness.

In all your proclaiming; don’t forget to show gratitude.

In all your praying: don’t forget to move in faith.

What we get is contingent upon what we give. Constantly learning daily that the Attitude is the source of what matters most.

Every time change occurs;

Self Reflect

Self Reflect

Self Reflect

Pay attention to your thoughts, are they healthy? Are they thoughts focused on reworking the plan to accommodate the change or are they thoughts centered on why you should give up?

Every bit of our success begins within our minds.

So before you can begin to focus on what you’re doing, it does not matter if your mind is in give up mode.

Mental consistency, mental positive consistency is the goal for this season.

Push thru the give up.
