Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

Independence is a gift and a curse.

A gift because it grants you a sense of personal accomplishment.

And a curse, because it can fill you with pride. So much so that you can’t bring yourself to reach out, so you’re drowning.

Don’t get too isolated from the people who care about you and your endeavors. Stay connected, not just because you are in need, but because community is needed.

Keep the lifeline going. Speak up when you need to.

It is ok to need help.

Do more and Say less.

Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

Every time change occurs;

Self Reflect

Self Reflect

Self Reflect

Pay attention to your thoughts, are they healthy? Are they thoughts focused on reworking the plan to accommodate the change or are they thoughts centered on why you should give up?

Every bit of our success begins within our minds.

So before you can begin to focus on what you’re doing, it does not matter if your mind is in give up mode.

Mental consistency, mental positive consistency is the goal for this season.

Push thru the give up.

Never get caught not thinking.

-Uncle Robert

My mom shared that deliscious nugget of wisdom with me this past weekend, and she received it from her oldest brother, my late Uncle Robert.

And funny enough, it made me think, am I making the best decisions to set myself up for success or to position myself more favorably should a situation arise?

For example, I love to shop; however my car has seen better days, so its imperative that I don’t spend my last dime, because I never know when my car will feel like not cooperating.

Consistently thinking ahead, prepares us for what is to come. Sure we dont know exactly what will happen, but with enough experience, we can anticipate risk and govern ourselves accordingly.

Don’t let good times blind you to precaution, always be thinking.

Dussst to Small Stuff

Where one door closes, another is awaiting your arrival to open.

In all sectors of your life, try not to sweat the small stuff. When you present your genuine self and move with the best outcome in mind, all you can do, is all you should.

What is truly meant to be for you, will be. Don’t let one disappointment take precedence to countless possibilities. Shrug it off and move forward with style, some grace and a lil edge to ward off nonsense.

Dussst to small stuff.

Opportunity is you going hard and mashing the pedal when a doorway opens to the next level.

No one stumbles upon success. You’re either seeking a pathway to living your goal/dream or you aren’t.

You are where you are because of what you are doing; period.

So yeah, I am an Opportunist. I put in work to get to the open door, and once I get to that open door, I go HAM.

Here’s to my fellow Go-Getters who understand the grind does not need to be understood, in order to be obtained.
