Motivation for Perspective: Go Getter Monday

In a world where it seems like there is nothing new under the sun, there is you. A unique and worthy individual, bursting at the seams with ideas and personality!
Believe that what you have to offer is valid and warranted. The world has been awaiting the arrival of your talent, your presence…. they just don’t know it yet!
And that’s where your actions come into place. What are you willing to do to solidify your dreams? Your goals?

We can cheer all day for you, but until you choose to make a move, it’s just noise…

Believe in yourself. Don’t feed the negativity.

Something New – Rebounding by Audrey Prim

Rebounding, it’s not just for basketball games. It was a form of moving forward for me in my younger days. I never took the time out to regroup and gain focus for myself, and I was replacing instead of reflecting. And honestly, it led to a lot of cycles of the same cycles. My mom says that my nurturing nature finds me in relationships of unbalance; I use to think she was just being a mom, not believing anyone was going to be good enough for her children. But, when I was recently faced with the difficult decision of continuing dancing in life with unequal matches versus taking my turn at giving it my all as a star, I decided to give the best performance of my life to myself. Pour all that I am and hope to be into my daily steps. Take my energy and replenish myself. It’s…

Tell us about your blog, Coach Carli
Coach Carli is a platform where I hope to inspire individuals to become their best selves.

Why did you begin blogging?
I began blogging because I wanted to share my experiences with others. I’ve had other blogs in the past, but this one feels right. I know how it feels to want more but not be sure how to get there. I want others to know that they are not alone and that becoming your best self is possible despite your circumstances. I want them to know that they create their own opportunities.

What motivates you to dedicate time to blogging?
It’s a struggle to dedicate time to blogging because I work full-time and have a family. However, I carve out time because writing is my passion. Writing is one of the things I think of each and every day. I feel at peace when I do it. It just feels right.

In one year, what do you hope manifests from your blogging? Carlinequote

Poll Question of the Day: Relationship Edition

It’s been a minute since I posted a poll, mostly because WordPress took the feature away, but it looks as if they have gotten their mind right and I am back in the game.

So I don’t know if any of you have noticed, but most of my polls are relationship based, because I don’t care to write about love.

Not the relationship kind anyway. Hell, I barely know what I am doing, kinda feeling my way as I go. If I bump into something, I know that it’s either the wrong direction or I’m not at the right end.

Either way, I hate writing about it, because people begin to feel as if you think you are an expert, when sometimes, people are simply relaying what they have learned through their individual process.

But anyhoo, here’s the Poll Question of the Day

Hello! Please introduce yourself to the readers.

Tell us about your blog, Get Fit Diva:
GET FIT DIVA is a dynamic community for women who want to change their lives and become more active, find their fabulous, and live “balanced”.
Why did you begin blogging?
What started as a blog chronicling my own weight loss and healthy living journey has become a movement for women. No longer do I chase a size or number on the scale but promote being active doing things you love (for me: Zumba, spin, running, and kickboxing), finding your fabulous by traveling, eating right, and feeling your best…but also living balanced. Balance is like a unicorn but finding harmony in all that you do is paramount in your healthy living journey.

What motivates you to dedicate time to blogging?
I am motivated by my community! I love that I am connecting and helping women around the world make time for themselves to become healthier and happier. This means so much to me. We are ALL on this journey together so providing resources, workouts, and access to experts that offer “real” advice has been incredible.
In one year, what do you hope manifests from your blogging?
In the Fall, I am launching an online store with GET FIT DIVA branded merchandise and also hosting local events. I hope that this manifests into women on their journeys finding encouragement online and offline.

I want to leave behind the legacy of being a great mother who loved hard and a multi-passionate woman that wanted to experience anything and everything this crazy/beautiful life brought her way!
